These are a good set of clippers, however they do open a bit too wide to be able to comfortably hold them and press together, once you have used them a few times you find a comfortable way to hold them, making it easier.
There are instructions on the back just incase you are not sure on how to clip your cat/dogs claws. I have used these for all 5 of my cats with no problems with the cutting (just the closing to cut at first) I haven’t needed to use it for our Giant Breed Dog yet (thankfully) as his claws stay down from his walks on concrete.
